QR Code Generator: frequently asked questions
How do I make a QR code for a website link?
Choose URL / Text, paste the link and press Generate QR code. Download it as PNG for screens or SVG for print.
How do I make a Wi-Fi QR code?
Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name and password, pick the security type and generate. Scanning it with a phone camera joins the network without typing the password.
How do I make a UPI QR code for payments?
Choose UPI payment, enter your UPI ID and name, and optionally a fixed amount. Any UPI app such as Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm can scan it to pay you.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The content is stored in the code itself, with no redirect or tracking link, so it works forever.
Can I use custom colours?
Yes, but keep the code dark on a light background with strong contrast, or some phones won't scan it. The tool warns you if the colours are risky.
