How do I calculate my exact age?
Enter your date of birth and press Calculate age. You get your age in years, months and days, plus your age in total months, weeks and days and how long until your next birthday.
How do I calculate my age on a specific date, like an exam cut-off?
Change the "Age on" date to the cut-off date in the notification, for example 1 August, and calculate. Add the minimum and maximum age to see whether you are eligible.
What does "maximum age 30 years" mean in a notification?
Usually that you must not have reached 30 by the cut-off date. For example, with a cut-off of 1 August 2026 and ages 20 to 30, you must be born between 2 August 1996 and 1 August 2006, both dates included. The calculator shows this range for you.
How is age calculated for someone born on 29 February?
In years without 29 February, the birthday is counted on 28 February, so the age goes up on 28 February.
