How do I count the days between two dates?
Pick the start and end dates and press Count days. You get the total number of days, the difference in years, months and days, and the number of weeks and working days.
Should I include the end date?
For a duration (how long from one date to another) leave it off: 1 to 2 January is 1 day. To count calendar days, like days of leave or a hotel stay, tick it: 1 to 2 January is then 2 days.
How are working days counted?
Working days are Monday to Friday between the two dates. Public holidays are not excluded, so subtract any that fall in the range.
How many days are there between two dates in different years?
The calculator handles any dates, including leap years, so the total is always exact.
