  3. Press Calculate date, or use a quick link like 90 days from today.

Add / Subtract Days: frequently asked questions

What is the date 90 days from today?

Press the "90 days" quick link under the form. It adds 90 calendar days to today's date in India and shows the result with its weekday.

How does adding months work at the end of a month?

The day of the month is kept where possible: 15 March plus 1 month is 15 April. If that day doesn't exist, it moves to the last day of the month, so 31 January plus 1 month is 28 February (29 in a leap year).

Can I count only working days?

Yes. Tick "Count working days only" to skip Saturdays and Sundays, for example to find a date 10 business days from now. Public holidays are not skipped.

Is the start date counted?

No. Adding 1 day to Monday gives Tuesday. This is how notice periods, due dates and "days from today" are usually worked out.
