The short version
- There are no accounts and no sign-up. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number to use any tool.
- Files you upload are processed in memory and sent straight back to you. We don't keep them.
- We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your data.
- Like almost every website, our server keeps basic technical logs for security and to fix problems.
Files and text you give a tool
When you upload a file (for example a PDF, image or spreadsheet) or paste text (for example JSON, Base64 or a JWT), it is sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection, processed, and the result is returned to you in the same response. Files are held in the server's memory only while your request is being handled.
A few PDF tools, such as Compress PDF and PDF to JPG, need to write the file to a private temporary folder on the server while they work. That folder is deleted as soon as the result is ready, whether or not the tool succeeded.
We don't look at, copy, keep or use the content of your files or text for any other purpose.
Information in page addresses
Some tools, such as the calculators, date tools and domain tools, put what you type into the page address (for example /emi-calculator?principal=500000&rate=8.5), so you can bookmark or share a result. Anything in a page address is also saved in your browser history and appears in our server logs (see below).
Tools that handle personal or sensitive input, including the Age Calculator (date of birth), JWT Decoder, QR Code Generator (for example Wi-Fi passwords) and every file tool, send it in a way that keeps it out of the page address. The Password Generator only puts your settings, never the generated passwords, in the address, and the passwords are never stored or logged.
Server logs
Our web server automatically records basic details of each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page address requested, the response, and the browser's user-agent string (which describes your browser and device). We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, for example to spot abuse and to investigate errors. They are kept for a limited time and are not used to build a profile of you or shared with anyone, except where the law requires it.
Cookies
NoAppz doesn't set cookies to identify or track you, and has no advertising or analytics cookies.
Tools that contact other services
Some tools only work by asking another service on your behalf. The request comes from our server, not your device, and includes only what the tool needs:
- DNS Lookup, Hostname to IP and IP to Hostname send the domain name or IP address you enter to Google Public DNS.
- Domain Age Checker and Domain Expiry Checker send the domain name to the domain registry's public RDAP or WHOIS service.
- SSL Certificate Checker connects to the website you enter to read its certificate.
Those services have their own privacy policies. No other tool sends your data anywhere else.
What's My IP
This tool shows the IP address your request came from. Your IP address is visible to every website you visit; we display it to you and don't store it beyond the server logs described above.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS, so what you send and receive is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't upload files you aren't comfortable sending over the internet.
Children
NoAppz is a general-purpose website and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we don't have accounts and don't keep your files, we hold almost no personal data about you. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
